The student Intern for AbbVie Biotechnology/ Biochemical Engineering will provide support to the Protein Purification Process Development and Process Support Area, working on different projects such as an assay improvement, process characterization and protocol preparation, protocol execution, etc.

Qualifications

Education:
Minimum of third year of college with courses within the Biochemical Engineering Area.

Have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Must provide proof (latest notes and / or transcript credit).

Letter from the academic institution or university.

Registration where indicated practice or summer semester (only in cases of Internship and COOP).

The university or institution must be accredited and provide copies of public liability insurance that covers this type of extracurricular activity.

For COOP programs and / or internship the student must be willing to work full days. Not able to locate part-time students.

Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.

Good mathematical and interpersonal skills.

Experience:
No experience is required.
