Technical Sales Reps - Cellular and Molecular Instrumentation - UK/Ireland/Scotland

My client is looking for someone to join their technical sales team as a Technical Sales Rep. This role is a very scientific role and will look at selling cellular and molecular analysis instruments into the northern England, Scotland and Dublin areas.

Job Title: Sales Rep / Technical Sales Rep
Benefits: Generous base salary + on target bonus scheme + car
Location: Scotland, North England (Newcastle North) and the Greater Dublin area. Candidates are required to live on patch

Job Responsibilities:
Use your skill and scientific experience to sell products to the scientific communities (mainly research labs, universities and pre-clinical pharma)
You will provide support for existing customers and be involved in promotional activities
Maintain sound knowledge of the products and be available to answer any queries and problems from internal and external sources.

Ideal Candidate:
*Highly motivated, driven individual
*MSc in biological sciences. There is a very strong preference for PhD qualification in biological sciences.
*At least 3 years of selling biological equipment/consumables into the academic or industrial laboratories in the regions specified.
*You will need to have very strong communication skills and ideally a pre developed network of contacts to access from day one.
