Experience and knowledge
- Ideally PhD trained in relevant ADMET field.
- Minimum of 5 years direct experience in in vitro ADMET in industry either in the pharmaceutical/biotech industries and/or related contract research services.
- Experience in a customer facing role and/or project management role is desirable
- Understanding of the latest regulatory guidance in relation to the ADMET field
Principal Accountabilities
- To coordinate transfer of information and compounds between laboratory and customer such that screening schedules run smoothly
- To give guidance to clients and ensure that experimental protocols and other contractual specifications are followed internally
- To report results to clients within specified time lines
- To support business development (BD) by acting as scientific advisor in meetings and teleconferences with potential new and existing customers
- To promote and present the company scientifically at external meetings and conferences
- To prepare protocols, contracts and agreements with existing clients within specified time lines.
- To provide support for internal research and development projects in order to improve current experimental methods and to develop novel assays
- To help train/develop laboratory staff in experimental/scientific processes as required
- To maintain an active interest in the maintenance and development of laboratory procedures in order to ensure that all data produced is of a consistently high quality
- To participate in quality-control processes within the laboratory
- To be involved in financial management and forecasting providing information to the CSO, BD team or CFO relating to recent activity of customers and projected future spend
