Sygnature Discovery is a leading provider of integrated drug discovery services to the global pharmaceutical industry and is based in the prestigious BioCity Nottingham complex, the largest bioincubator in Europe. Key areas of expertise include medicinal and synthetic chemistry, computational chemistry, in vitro bioscience/screening and integrated drug discovery via the unique ‘federated’ CRO Model. Sygnature seeks to create value for its client’s projects through access to our wealth of drug discovery experience, our highly flexible and transparent collaborative models and a keen sense of focus on innovation.  We have created a dynamic and supportive environment in which to practise modern drug discovery medicinal chemistry and bioscience.

As part of our expansion we are looking for in vitro bioscientists to join our research teams in Nottingham. Successful candidates are likely to have a PhD in pharmacology, biochemistry or a related discipline; preferably with drug discovery experience gained within a biotech, pharmaceutical company, or a CRO, especially from within CNS, anti-infective and oncology therapeutic areas. Sygnature also recruits fresh PhDs and post-docs with the aim of creating a dynamic blend of youth and experience. We expect candidates to be highly motivated, dynamic, keen to learn, ethical and have a strong commitment to laboratory work and project delivery. They must also be eligible to work in the UK and hold an appropriate UK work permit.

Salary and benefits are competitive and based on the applicant’s level of experience and responsibility. 
Currently we are offering both permanent and fixed-term contracts.
