HRS Hyper Recruitment Solutions: Development Scientist - Cellular & Molecular Biology

We are currently looking for a Development Scientist to join the Cellular & Molecular Biology team for a leading Life Sciences company based in the Cambridgeshire area. This is a permanent position working on behalf of global projects for a multi national organisation.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

An exciting development role has become available in our client's early phase development site. The position will be primarily involved in the expression, purification and characterisation of antibodies and other recombinant proteins using mammalian expression systems. You will be supporting other scientists participating in the projects, support colleagues in the day to day running of the laboratory environment and other experimental project teams when needed.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful as the Development Scientist in this Cell & Molecular Biology team we require experience from those who can demonstrate the following on their experience:

1. Degree in a relevant life sciences discipline (i.e. Biological Sciences / Molecular Sciences / Cell & Molecular Biology etc) plus proven industry experience with the following:

Molecular biology / Mammalian cell culture / Aseptic techniques / Transfection / Protein purification (AKTA) / immunoassays.

Unfortunately those without prior industry experience will not be considered for this role as our client requires somebody to hit the ground running in this role due to current project demands.
