Kelly Scientific UK: Operations Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to join a translational research laboratory as a Operations Manager based in Central London.

The purpose of the role is to be responsible for the management of the Alphadas clinical system including volunteer tracking, electronic source, clinical tasks and assessment management, sample management and data monitoring.

The System Manager will ensure that the Alphadas Clinical system:

• Meets the business objectives in the most efficient way

• Has sufficient budget for operational and maintenance requirements

• Conforms to all necessary standards, policy and security requirements

• Support processes to adequately train and support all users to the required level

The key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Act as the Alphadas clinical system owner at Retroscreen
  • design and implementation and system management of other operational systems as directed by management
  • Works cross functionally to manage and support the system(s), their implementation, deployment, training and evolution
  • Coordinates required user acceptance and validation activities both of initial implementation(s) and subsequent releases
  • Manages or oversees system account user access and training;
  • Acts as the primary point of contact for any errors of faults with assigned systems
  • Act as the main liaison between Retroscreen, Instem and any other third party providers
  • Manages change control around the system(s) and their functionality
  • Manages future releases/enhancements of the system(s) including reviewing solutions and proposes or approves system updates. They may also participate in the procurement, development and engineering of these updates
  • Reports on system status to CMBU â€" management
  • Manages and authorises associated budget
  • Ensures issues and risks associated with the system(s) are tracked and managed; and
  • Manages payments
