HRS Hyper Recruitment Solutions: GMP Process Technician
ROLE OVERVIEW:
To support the manufacture of all products within our client's biological manufacturing facility, in an efficient and safe manner to the required standards and to ensure operations and documentation are completed to comply with ISO9001 and GMP regulations at all times.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Process technician your day to day duties will be varied and could include the following:
1. To ensure that safe working methods and practices are adopted at all times and in accordance with Company policy for both the safety of the post holder and others in the working environment.
2. To develop an understanding of all the products and processes within the Biologics Manufacturing Facility which includes Modification Enzymes, Cell Culture and Antibody Purification and other products as required.
3. To develop the skill and flexibility to operate all plant, equipment and utilities appropriate across a wide range of activities associated with production in an effective and efficient manner to optimize the productive output of the process in which the post holder is involved.
4. To be responsible for maintaining complete, accurate and detailed records (in compliance with ISO 9001 and GMP) of all activities in which the post holder is involved to enable any item to be readily traceable. You will ensure compliance of operations within the facility, including materials handling, materials storage, completion of equipment and facility logs and identification of maintenance and breakdown issues, as required under ISO 9001 and GMP guidelines.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful as a Process Technician within this organisation we are looking with people who can demonstrate the following:
1. Educated to Aâ Level standard in a science discipline (minimum) ideally a BSc in Biology / Chemistry or other related discipline would be advantageous with previous experience in a process / manufacturing environment to GMP standards.
2. Proven understanding of ISO9001 / GMP is critical with experience in both cell culture and protein purification being advantageous.
3. Priority will be given to those who have prior experience of working in clean room environments from industry.
