European Sales Manager - Biotech - Belgium

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a European Sales Manager to join a leading biotech company based in Belgium. As an organisation they specialise in food safety and their products are used in a variety of food areas and products. With innovative R&D and continued growth it is an ideal time to be joining them.

As a European Sales Manager you will join the Commercial & Marketing Department and you will be responsible for a variety of key areas within the sales function. You will be expected to build and maintain relationships with distributors and set sales targets to monitor performance. In other areas you will develop action plans and marketing strategies and you will analyse sales data to present at business reviews. Using your technical knowledge will also be key to support the distribution network. The role will be approximately 50% travel with the rest of your time spent operating out of the office.

To be considered for this position candidates must be educated to degree level in a relevant scientific discipline. This educational background will be coupled with 5+ years sales experience within the biotechnology industry. Experience within the food safety / agrofood sectors would be highly regarded. Due to the European focus of this role you must speak fluent English, German and French. A full drivers licence is also essential.
