Reporting within the Global Operations Procurement team, this role performs two primary functions: 1 â€" Plan/Procure finished goods from suppliers. 2 â€" Identify and manage process improvement initiatives. Responsibilities may include: Analyze and execute MRP or indirect requisition messages into buy transactions on a daily basis. Effectively process purchase orders: negotiate delivery, terms and conditions and pricing, and expedite/follow through on receipt and payment. Monitor supplier and product performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations. Evaluate suppliers’ ability to sustain supply at required cost, quality & service levels. Manage new part release planning data and participate in New Product Introduction teams. Identify supply chain optimization opportunities; collect and analyze data; identify root cause and correction plans. Minimum Qualifications (must have)
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a Supply Chain discipline is preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience solving problems both individually and as a part of teams.
  • Experience using Excel, JD Edwards and SAP ERP systems.
Preferred Qualifications (nice to have)
  • 6 Sigma training a plus.
  • APICS training a plus.
