 Argenta is a successful and expanding contract Drug Discovery organisation with projects spanning a range of disease areas. Argenta is also a Service Division of Galapagos NV, a mid-sized, clinical stage biotechnology company active in the discovery and development of small molecule therapies.

Team Leader / Group Leader Positions

As part of our continuing expansion we have vacancies for two Team Leader / Group Leader positions in the Biology Department; one with experience in Inflammation / Immunology and one with an Oncology background.

Candidates should have a Ph.D., with significant pharmaceutical industry experience, and a background in the relevant field. Experience of both biochemical and cellular assay development is required, and of translating these assays into potential efficacy and translational biomarkers.

The successful candidates will work in multidisciplinary teams, to manage projects and scientific staff, and to present project issues, progress and strategies to senior scientific and managerial staff. Argenta’s contract drug discovery scientific environment means that you will be a member of teams that interact with a variety of drug discovery organisations, including biotech, large pharma and virtual companies, on a diverse range of programs. Argenta’s clients are located in a number of international locations including Europe and the US.
