An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Scientific Sales Engineer to join a leading company based in Hampshire. As a company their focus is on the sale and technical support of a range of instruments for the life sciences industry. With continued success and growth it is an ideal time to be joining them.

As a Scientific Sales Engineer you will be responsible for identifying opportunities with customers for the sale of the company's product range in the life sciences market within the UK. You will be expected to actively approach customers to promote the product range and arrange visits and demonstrations. You will also assist the European Sales Manager in dealer support activity including presentations, exhibitions and dealer training. Further activities will include producing monthly sales reports and assisting with the running of the office. The role will be UK sales based but you will be expected to reside near to Guildford in order to work out of the office.

To be considered for the role candidates must be educated to degree level in a relevant scientific subject such as chemistry, biochemistry or biology. This educational background will be coupled with a minimum of 1-2 years sales experience within the instrumentation or consumables areas. You have a good background in selling into biotech, pharma or chemistry companies.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a science graduate with sales experience. Salmonella spreads by targeting cells in our gut, study shows

University of Edinburgh researchers have found that the bacteria are able to change key cells that line the intestine, enabling the bugs to thrive.
