SEC Recruitment: Biotech R&D Specialist - Formulation - Madrid


Global Pharmaceutical Group is currently looking for a Biotech R&D Specialist - Formulation/Anaytica, to join their fast growing Biosimilars Division.

Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

* In this position you will be responsible for the Global Co-ordination of all Formulation processes running in the different manufacture sites around the World.
*Ensures conformity and accuracy of current and new manufacturing / production processes.
*Implements continuous process improvement.
*Ensures the transfer of processes: From the HQ in Madrid to the Manufacture sites/CMOs worldwide.
*Ensures scale-up strategy.

Essential Skills & Capabilities:

*PhD in Biochemistry/Chemistry with 4-8 yrs of experience OR, BS/MS in Biochemistry/Chemistry with 10+ years of experience

Previous Experience (Mandatory):
*Experience in working with macromolecule (proteins) formulation/analytics
*Experience in handling analytical HPLC (SEC, RP/HIC), SDS-PAGE

Previous experience (desirable)
*Experience with in vitro cell based assay, ELISA
*Experience in handling DLS/ or laser spectroscopy
*Experience in handling Acta purifier

*Experience in Biosimilar development will be a plus.
*Availability to travel internationally - 30-40% of the time.
*Fluent in English.
