Do you have a MSc or BSc in Biochemistry?

Do you have experience with surface plasma resonance (SPR) and isothermal titration calorimetry (ITC)?

This is an exciting opportunity to join a global pharmaceutical company for a six month contract working as a Scientist â€"Enzymology.

The role sits within the Respiratory Disease area and arises due to expansion in the team.

The key accountabilities for the role is to support the drug discovery efforts of the group and the right candidate should possess a broad experience in quantifying small molecule and protein interactions by means of biophysical methods and analytical techniques.

Techniques may include but are not limited to:

  • Size exclusion chromatography (SEC)
  • Surface Plasma Resonance (SPR)
  • Isothermal Titration Calorimetry (ITC)
  • Differential Scanning Fluorimetry (DSF)
  • Circular Dichroism (CD) or Liquid chromatographyâ€"mass spectrometry (LC-MS)

The role will require the ability to contribute to experimental design and to conduct experiments independently.

Requirements:

  • BSc or MSc in Biochemistry
  • Industrial or academic laboratory experience
  • Experience in biophysical methodologies and techniques
