We are an international group within the in vitro diagnostics and immunodiagnostics market, providing an innovative line of products that are used in analysis laboratories at universities, hospitals and private testing facilities around the world.   

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Protein Biochemist to join our Technical Process Development team. This role is a challenging and bespoke position. A strong protein chemistry or downstream processing background will be essential as you will be responsible for leading and/or managing technical investigations, process improvement, innovation and cost reduction projects.

You will provide day to day technical support to the Biotechnology Department which produces a range of recombinant proteins, antidodies and conjugates; your duties will include root cause investigations into process or performance issues to help maximise efficiency.

We are looking for a pro-active and solution orientated individual who has experience with a range of protien purification methodologies, analytical techniques and process and test method validation experience.

It is essential for the successful candidate to demonstrate good laboratory practices and skills alongside excellent communication and presentation skills.

Ideal candidates will be educated to PhD or BSc level in a relevant discipline, other relevant experience will also be considered.
