Position Title: Biotechnology Lecturer

Appointment: Part-time non-tenure-track

Starting Date: August 21, 2013

Position Description: The Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater invites applications for a one year, part-time appointment as an instructor for intermediate level courses. Primary teaching responsibilities will include biotechnology lab methods I (254) with the potential for the coverage of additional classes, including genetics lab (Bio 251), for the 2013-2014 academic year. Course assignments will complement current faculty. This position is not eligible for tenure.

Qualifications: Ph.D. in a biological science is preferred, A.B.D. will be considered. Successful candidates must demonstrate their potential to be outstanding teachers and active contributors of the department and university.

Salary: Competitive and negotiable.
