Dietary Risk Assessor- Biotechnology- Berkshire

A superb opportunity has become available for a Dietary Risk Assessor to join a highly successful Bio- technology company at one of their sites based in the South East. The company is one of the leading biotechnology companies who have a strong global presence and have offices in over 90 countries.

As a Dietary Risk Assessor, you would determine the safety to consumers following the use the company's crop protection products. Several of your main responsibilities would be:

*Represent the consumer safety group on project teams and working with colleagues from Environment safety, Toxicology, Metabolism and Project Management
*Provide expertise in the assessment of metabolism and residue data and in dietary risk assessment
*Understand current and future EU regulatory guidelines and issues
*To ensure the delivery and content of regulatory submission documents meet the agreed timelines and quality
*Participate in science projects and communicate the outcomes at external venues

The successful candidate would be educated to a BSc level in Chemistry or Toxicology or a relevant life sciences discipline. Furthermore, along with the relevant educational background, the successful candidate should have previous experience of working in a dietary risk assessment role or a residue Study Manager either in an Agrochemical or Pesticide industry where you have gained experience of carrying out human exposure evaluations and risk assessments. In addition, prior knowledge of EU pesticide guidelines relating to residue chemistry and previous experience of writing and reviewing EU technical submission documents would be highly advantageous.
