An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Head of Formulation Development to join a leading biotech based in Switzerland. With continued growth and success in their therapeutic field it is an ideal time to be joining them.

As the Head of Formulation Development you will lead a small group of scientists who are responsible for the development of formulations of biopharmaceuticals. You will be responsible for the development of the group and managing the activities within the team. This will include management of screening, stability studies, bioanalytical characterisation and formulation transfer up to pilot GMP production. Within the role you will be expected to accurately record documentation and generate technical reports.

To be considered for this role candidates must be educated to a minimum of MSc level in a relevant scientific subject. This will be coupled with extensive experience in senior positions within the development of liquid biopharmaceuticals. Candidates must have experience in protein formulation and a thorough understanding of analytical methods for protein characterisation.
