SEC Recruitment: Global Supply Chain Manager


I am seeking on behalf of an International Pharmaceutical company a Global Supply Chain Manager to define and optimize the logistics and Supply Chain strategy of the production site.

This is a Senior Management level position and you will be reporting directly to the Site Director and be responsible for the implementation of the Group's strategy in the site.

(Permanent position in Alsace, France)

Responsibilities

Definition and optimization of the Procurement processes
Sourcing and evaluation of suppliers and contract manufacturers
ERP implementation and follow up in the production unit
Coordination of Supply Chain, Procurement and logistics projects of the site
Recruitment and motivation of the employee of the unit
Definition of KPIs and strategies to improve the unit performances
Implementation of new methodologies for stock optimization
Ensuring the efficiency of the Business Continuity Plan

Requirements

Master's Degree level in a Scientific Discipline or in Business Administration
Minimum 5 years' experience in a Supply Chain / Procurement department in the Pharma, Biotech, Chemistry or Food industry.
Knowledge of the regulatory guidance and Quality Standards in the pharmaceutical industry.
Ability to define objectives and actions to implement in order to achieve result according to the global strategy.
Ability to define employee's career progression path and identify area for improvement.
Result oriented and good internal and external communication focus.
Advanced level of French and Fluent in English.

Salmonella spreads by targeting cells in our gut, study shows
